Remedy profile
MENTAL SYMPTOMS
Agraphis is best suited to people who are low in vitality (energy) and prone to catching colds.
PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS
The classic symptom picture is of ear, nose, and throat infections linked to catarrh (thick mucus) and deafness, particularly during childhood. There may be catarrh in the bridge of the nose, obstructing the nostrils (two opening at the end of your nose), and discharges from all the mucous membranes (lubricates and protect organ). Chills develop easily after exposure to cold winds, accompanied by diarrhea (loose, watery stool) with mucus. During infection the tonsils and adenoids (patch of tissues at the back of the nasal passage) may be swollen.
MODALITIS
Symptoms Amelioration - shelter, lying on the stomach.
Symptoms Aggravation - heat and humidity

Characteristics
Agraphis medicine has characters of the lilies and corresponds to catarrhal (build-up of thick mucus) conditions. Obstruction of the nostrils (opening at the end of your nose), especially from adenoids (patch of the tissue at the back of the nasal passage), and deafness I have frequently seen relieved by the remedy. The action of it is felt towards the root of the nose (nostril). Agraphis plant grows in sheltered places, and Doctor Cooper give a symptoms that (amelioration from shelter) as a leading indication. It also corresponds to chill from cold winds or aggravation from cold wind. It is one of the leading remedies in cases of adenoids. Doctor Cooper gives, Adenoids with enlarged tonsils, frequently accompanying dentition (arrangement of the teeth). This remedy is also used for symptom - mucous diarrhoea following a suppressed cold.
